VACANCY: FAN Access Coordinator (Work Placement) August 2019 (CLOSED)

Nod Canolfan Ffilm Cymru (FHW) ydy cyflwyno rhagor o ffilmiau, i ragor o bobl, mewn rhagor o leoedd o amgylch Cymru. Gyda’i leoliadau aelodau annibynnol mae Canolfan Ffilm Cymru yn datblygu dulliau arloesol yn rheolaidd i bobl yng Nghymru fynd i’r sinema. Mae Canolfan Ffilm Cymru yn un o ‘ganolfannau’ DU gyfan a gyllidir gan y Sefydliad Ffilm Prydeinig (BFI) i ffurfio’r Rhwydwaith Cynulleidfa Ffilm (FAN), ac mae Chapter wedi’i benodi fel y Corff Arwain Canolfan Ffilm (FHLO) yng Nghymru. Y nod ydy datblygu’r sector arddangos trwy ymchwil penodol, hyfforddiant a chefnogaeth prosiect datblygu cynulleidfa. Ers sefydlu Canolfan Ffilm Cymru yn 2013, mae wedi cefnogi dros 225 brosiectau sinema cyffrous, gan gyrraedd dros 422,000 o aelodau cynulleidfa.

Film Hub Wales are seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds to support the BFI FAN Access Officer with the coordination of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN) Diversity and Inclusion project.
The post-holder will explore and debate representation on screen, in the audience and behind the camera, with the aim of creating access for all film audiences to British independent and world cinema UK wide, regardless of the barriers to attendance they may face. They will liaise with members of BFI FAN, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project.
